VAN ACCESS

The van has access to the side by a sliding door with retractable step, holding handles enable safe boarding.

At the rear is a ramp providing access for wheelchairs either for transferring passengers to the rear seats or strapping securely for a journey.

We are fully aware that not all residents are ok with travel and we provide equipment for such occasions.

During the hot summer weather we have a cool spray that residents can use too keep their temperature to a reasonable level and in the same manor we provide lap blankets during the winter.

One Wheelchair Passenger, Seven Passengers walking or transferable*
*Any Residents employing the front seats would need to be able bodied enough to climb up front. (A step can be used)

Two Wheelchair Passengers, Six Passengers walking or transferable*
*Any Residents employing the front seats would need to be able bodied enough to climb up front. (A step can be used)

Three Wheelchair Passengers, Six Passengers walking or transferable*
*Any Residents employing the front seats would need to be able bodied enough to climb up front. (A step can be used)

Eight Passengers walking or transferable*
*Any Residents employing the front seats would need to be able bodied enough to climb up front. (A step can be used)

Van Layout Four

The wheelchairs would need to be no bigger than the standard size given below unless otherwise agreed in advance. Electric wheelchairs would need to be assessed before allowing them to be transported due to restraint points and physical size of the wheelchair.
