Enabling for Disabled :

We provide an active roll in many disabled peoples lives whether the disability is down to older age, Genetics, accidents or whatever.
One of our most important rolls is in Enabling.
Enabling is taking action in partnership with individuals or groups to empower them, through the mobilisation of human and material resources, to promote and protect their health.
- In Short, 'helping people to do things they normaly could not do on thier own'.
We have the ability to provide bespoke enabling for disabled people in and around Torbay, Devon. Our transporter is able to take large wheelchairs and our staff are trained in communication techniques and help with certain areas of care* that are required.
At present we provide specific Enabling for a chap with Cerebral palsy.
With our disability transport we have the ability to take him anywhere he pleases and so far we have taken him to many, many different places.

As you can see he enjoys his walks and the shopping trips helps with his independence. However when out and about we also help his with eating and we learned how to communicate with him using a specialy designed eye chart communicator.
